Good evening Italian reader! How are you doing?! Today I’m so happy. There is a beautiful weather and I can stay outside just with my T-shirt.

I should tell you a lot of stories.

The first thing that I’d like to say is that I passed almost sure the exam in my school. If I pass this test, I’ll go in high intermediate class. This is the 4th level on 6 total levels. I said in the past articles of my blog, that in my school there were 5 levels, but in the last week the teachers decided to add 1 level (professional level), because there are so much high level students that have to go in the advanced and in advanced there isn’t enough space for everybody.

Anyway, I will arrive in the advanced if I continue to study like now: I’m wondering if in the level test I could make a score better than that!

The test is based on 4 skills (like the Toefl): Spoken, written, listened and grammar. You have to take the test just using the PC. So, for the listened and the grammar, you have to select the right answers (like A, B, C & D), but with the written you have to write something about the question that the PC asks you. For example, I had the question “if you received an inhereditance from your grandparents, what would you like to do  with this money?!”, then I have to write a text with as much as possible content grammar (like tense, comparative and all this stuff). And the best it was the spoken test. You have to read the question on the monitor, after you have 30 seconds for think about the answer, then you have to talk for 1 minute, while the PC is recording your voice.

Right now, I just know the scores about the written (29/35) and the score about the listened (14/15).

Also this day, the day of the test, I could make something idiot. For the spoken test you have to speak 3 times:
The first time you have to speak about your goals in the future, the second time you have to speak about your things that you have made in the past and the third time you have to read a fake mail from your fake friend and then you have to answer.

No way Jose!! I could mistake also this time!!

I read the mail. Finished the mail, I spoke when I have to think about the answer, then, when I thought that the time was finished, I began to say “fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck …” (because it was been very difficult to answer), but the problem for the people that don’t understand yet is that I was saying “fuck fuck fuck.. ” when the registration began.

Unbelievable!! I found out this stuff yesterday morning in the class from my teacher.

Anyway, while Derek (my teacher) was laughing, he said that is not important because he understood that I could answer.

The same day, I wanted to make 2 goals. So I wondered “Why can’t I go in DMV and try to take the exam?!”. Here I go! Now, I had the dictionary and a lot of power to pass everything I wanted to do!!

25 questions … 9 faults … didn’t pass it…

It was so difficult and it was so stupid!! Now I have to pay attention and study with concentration! I must pass the second time!

What could I say about yesterday?

In the class we were just in three. No one understood why. In the afternoon, I didn’t do anything and in the night I took the time for make a plan about the strip in Washington State. I’d like to stay there 10 days and I’m going to take 3 days to visit Seattle. The real reason, is that I want just go outside San Diego and stay just some days with myself in a different place with different people (just for change habit during the holiday). I want to meet Maggie and if it’s possible also Jordan. I’d like to greet them (Maggie & Jordan are two girl that came in Italy more than one years ago. They were the American friends of Valeria. Valeria is the cousin of Gonzo. She has gone in America for 1 year like me). Anyway, I don’t want to see Tim for some days because it’s very hard stay with one person almost 24 hours per day. I didn’t think it was so difficult and he is very petty and kid. But the problem is not that he is kid. The real problem is that he is very very stupid! BUT VERY STUPID! And the worst thing is that he think to be smart! Doesn’t matter.

(..It was just a vent..)

Hello guys and girls. How are you? I’m so fine!

Now I can understand how the American people under 21 spend their time in USA: partys! To be honest I just knew that, but now I’m sure: I tried the style of the American’s party on my skin. So, What have I to talk about the American’s partys?? Oh a lot of alcohol, a lot of girls drunk and now I know that the worst people about drinking alcohol are the Orientals. Oh my God!

One Japanese girl in the party (I can’t really remember the name), maybe made 5 or 6 cocktail for me with 3 quarters of alcohol and one quarter of orange juice. And this not only for me but probably for almost all guys in the party.

Tim and me went to “bay point”, place for the students (like “il vantaggio” in Little Italy). Here we had to meet other 5 guys for go to the party together. We went out, then 3 guys over 21 entered to the “Drugs store” for buy some alcohol (the alcohol is the pass for the party: you have to buy something if you want to enter) while we went to the party by taxi. We arrived at 10pm. At this time there were something like 10 people not more. Just in one hour the house was almost full. Very very good time!!

I wasn’t completely drunk, i could understand every thing (Everybody that know me, know that I don’t like drink so much) but a lot of people was very very fucked! I knew two guys from Italy, very friendy but very “terroni”.

Here, you can only dream eletronic music. Here, there is only this fucking Salsa and all the stupid guys that come from America Latina had all the dance floor with the girls. I have to learn how can I dance this music! Really all the guys could dance expect me and other European people! So we had a good time except for the dance.

We came back to “bay point” by taxi. We wanted to sleep outside. It was so late to come back home. So We entered in the Melvin’s house (Melvin is the guy with the chewgum in the photos of the party), I played a little bit guitar and than we went to bad. We woke up at 2 o’clock and we went to jacuzzi (exclusive for the people of bay point): it was very relaxing (maybe the water was something like 60 degrees: it was very hard while i was entering in the water). After a couple of hours we came back home at 6.40pm.

Anyway i had a very good time and i hope to do something like this very soon.

Hello everybody.. today I want to try to write the first post in english. So today is november 10th and i’m going to write something of yesterday. First rule for all reader: if you’ll find out some mistake, you HAVE TO tell me.

Ok i’m ready. Yesterday I woke up at 7 o’clock in the morning for call my family. They were all togheter for receive my videocalling. After one hour and half and a lot of chats, Tim and me watched the first half of Blow (amazing movie about one poor guy and his business about cocaine).After, I decided with Aline to visit a ship of the Marine of the ’40 or something like this. We arrived in front of the ship at 3.30 in the afternoon. We stayed inside the shep for only 1 hour and a half because they closed at 5 o’clock. So we bought a student ticket (cheeper than the normal one) and we entered.

The first guy inside the ship explained to us how we could learn something about the navy. The normal day on this famous ship called “Midway”. The name of the museum is “USS Midway Museum” and down you can find the link of the official site:

Anyway, we followed a planned way, where you had to wear a headphone and in the same time you had to look (for example) several rooms where the navies slept and listen the explanation. I took a lot of photos. Here are the best in almost fifty total photos:

After this quick lesson I can explaine what is the difference between navies and marines. For the people that doesn’t know the difference, the navies are the sea’s military and the marines are a part of the navies that can also go on the land. Never mind, it was very very interesting.

After that, we went to the Hooka bar, because Aline wanted to smoke but we found the shop close. It open at 7 o’clock so we decided to go to the “il vantaggio” place for the students like me, situated in Little Italy. Aline has a friend in this place and we thought that it was possible enjoy there.

Before go there, we went to buy some beer and some chips for the evening (total cost for 6 bottle if beer and 2 packs of chips: 10.16 box…. I have to give back Aline 5box…azz… I can’t, i’m so poor… never mind). We entered and I had never seen anywhere a place like this. It was something like an hotel but with 1 kitchen shared for all the floor. There was, I think so, three floors. Anyway, Aline and me waited in the first floor’s kitchen, for one hour while the people were cooking. We were drunk a lot of beer while the people were arrived and set. At the 8.30 in the evening, the kitchen was full of people. I met and knew a lot new people very iteresting and two of these were from south Switzerland than so they could speak Italian. Oh guys, the first time that I spoke seriously my language with someone on this 2 months. I was excited and very relaxed. Anyway, I was a little bit drunk and I enjoyed so much. We came back at home at 1 o’clock. I begin to find right people to go out in the evening. I hope. Oh, I forget to say that the “Italian Switzerland” people left this night so for me i won’t be a problem (I mean learn the language).
